Tell us about yourself and your research interests?
I am a very ambitious Pharm.D and medical resident in Immunology working at Pasteur Institute of Algeria. During my Pharmacy graduating program, I attended lectures in Fundamental and Clinical Immunology as part of my training. It was back then that I developed a strong interest towards the field of Immunology. I knew that this is what I wanted to specialize in after I graduate.

During my training as a medical resident in Immunology for 4 years, I became aware of the complexity and broadness of this field, and the necessity to further my specialization in fundamental and clinical research, in order to, hopefully as a passionate pharmacist, extrapolate findings on a therapeutic level and identify new therapeutic targets. I have huge interest in autoimmune diseases, I am now in the Autoimmunity lab for over a year and a half and I am working on Autoimmune Hepatitis and the role of anti F-actin auto-antibodies in the diagnosis of this disease. I also have huge interest in Allergic Diseases and Immunotherapy.
