I received my BSc degree in Medical Laboratory science from Wollo university. I continued my education in medical Immunology at University of Gondar, Ethiopia with research area focusing on characterization of NK cells among HIV patients. During this path, I developed interest in the immune response to vaccine. Then, I have extended my area of research into by flowcytometry the analysis of innate cells including NK, monocytes, and DC, and B cells in response to HBV vaccine aiming to understand changes in sub-optimal response among HIV adults. Both studies are under the supervision of Dr, Rawleigh Howe, Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI). I am highly passionate on new vaccine, cancer immunotherapy, and antibody-based therapy trials.
