I hold a BSc in Microbiology from the University of Bamenda and an MSc degree in Microbiology from the University of Buea-Cameroon. I am currently a PhD student and a graduate research assistant at the Molecular Parasitology Laboratory of the University of Buea. My research focus on investigating the adaptive immune response to SARSCoV-2 among Cameroonians and to screen for neutralising antibodies. I am a passionate of immunology more precisely molecular immunology. My master thesis focused on screening for the immunomodulatory properties of Lactic acid bacteria isolated from a Cameroonian traditionally fermented milk in vivo. I believe, biological immunomodulators are the keys to develop potential safe drugs to complement the present chemotherapy. Identifying potential modulators of the immune response will prove vital in treating many disease conditions such as cancer.
