I serve as an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Biomedical Laboratory Science, Kibogora Polytechnic University where I teach Advanced Immunology and clinical Immunology and Virology. I hold a BSc in Biotechnology from University of Rwanda, MSc in Immunology from Postgraduate School, Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia and I am currently an active master’s student in Public Health with concentration in Epidemiology at Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang, Indonesia. Sustaining our existence is brittle and hampered by diseases and aging, yet seemingly held together by the aspects, principles and applications of immunology. From that standpoint, I am very much fascinated in various medical fields including but not limited to immunology to infection with much focus on parasitic and viral infections, immuno-oncology, transplantation immunology, immunonutrition, immunoageing, autoimmune diseases, stem cells and tissue engineering, immunodiagnosis and other various aspects of biomedical sciences. My thesis research focused on comparison and characterization of IgG immune responses to Plasmodium berghei Schizont Rich Antigen (PbSAg) and Plasmodium berghei Ring Trophozoite Schizont Gametocyte Antigen (PbRTSGAg) with a purpose of determining malaria vaccine candidates. Furthermore, I am much interested in both in vivo and in vitro researches with keenness of communicating scientific knowledge to the world through publications.
